BOOOM SHAKALAKA!! OH YEAH i needed to get that off my chest i feel much better

Now i might be wrong but one of the first fps games to appear on a console was a game know as Zero Tolerance on the sega genesis. It had ground breaking stuff for a console. It pushed the sega so far with graphics that they had to build into the game a HUD containing ammo, weapons, map, health and the such. You had seven lives to try n beat the game with, these seven lives were in the form of 7 different characters. each had their own talents and abilties. it introduced the ability to jump, squat, punch and kick, along with being able to side step. It featured interesting visual effects, like animated wall textures, blood running down walls, blood that would fly through the air, and rudimentary sloped floors; as well as environmental fire. It contained a total of 40 level with around 100 enemies to kill in each level. It had eight different types of enimes ranging from zombies to dogs to aliens. As for weapons and items it contained eight different weapons ranging from the standard pistol n shot gun, to pulse lasers, laser aimed uzi, mines, grenades, rocket launcher, as well as the ever soooo fun flame thrower. the items consisted of bullit proof vest, medi pack, bio scanner (uav), night vision goggles, a flashlight, and a fire extinguisher and fire proof suite (which comes in handy for a few levels in the game). But one of the most revaltuionary aspects of the game was the ability to play through the levels by co-op system link. Yes you could actually huck up two segas and play through the game with a friend. This was awesome why because while you where clearing one level the other could be doin the next level. and you both coul have a wider range of weapons and items (between the both of you u could have all the weapons/items). many people havnt even heard of it but it was a commercial success, selling over 215,000 copies in the US alone.
