God wants to have a personal relationship with each and every person through His Son Jesus Christ. If you would like to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, please know that the Bible says the following:
"If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved." (Romans 10:9-10)
Naturally you would not confess that Christ is your Lord and Savior unless you believed that in your heart. You may not understand everything there is to know about being a Christian. But if you believe the things under How to Know God, offer this prayer or one like it to God and mean it in your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
