i dont quiet understand what your saying. However, i don't think that you can understand were we are coming from unless you have lived in america, and same goes for us and the culture in austraila. There is a BIG difference in being understanding and being tolerant, and if you are not tolerant in america then you are labled a homophob, gay basher, homo hater, and so on. Our society has become so messed up. Especially when it come to homosexuallity. In america you almost can't be a Christian and not be a homohater form our societys view point. If you say you are a christian then you are labled as being a homo hater. Its rediclous. I mean come on Fight against grenade spaming? Our society will go balistic over something like this, yet at the same time they believe its ok to allow comercials that make women look like they are nothing more than sexual objects that are to be conquered, trained, used, and punished when they dissobey. Its ok to use comercials that show almost completely naked women, but boy you better not talk down about homosexuals. gah its just so stup1d. I don't understand. i just dont understand.

alpha this is by no means aimed at you. This is just my frustration with our society coming out. Hopefully you do have a better understanding of how our society is in america. I also appologise if i miss understood your post.

I completely agree with you. You must have misread or misunderstood my post. It's almost as bad in Australia. What I was meaning was that the government says that we are to be an "understanding society" which means that you can't be discriminating if someone wants a job at your company, you can't discriminate if a gay person wants to be a preacher etc.
I mean, A GAY preacher!!!!! That is wrong! The church I go to is one of the last ones that has been able to get out of getting gay preachers or elders or gay people with some other role in the church. I believe it's fine if gay people want to be members of the church to find Jesus in their lives, but how can you be deliberately disobeying God but still want to be a preacher?!!
And as you say, you can be put in jail for discriminating against gay people, but there are so many other bad things in the world that are considered OK!

*Oh, just in case you though I was insulting homosexuals by calling them gay, that's just what they're called over here. I don't know if it's insulting over in America.

It's not so much insulting but it is considered "politically correct", which is another way of saying, "atroxx doesn't care".

I'm all for being understanding and tolerant and whatnot, but it is open season on Christianity right now, and the whole world knows it. Those same people that wag their fingers in our faces telling us we are intolerant will call us ignorant rednecks and backwards idiots with the same breath.
