We had a bad storm come through last Sunday and lightening hit us. I lost my internet connection for a few days. It fried my hub and the NIC on my pc, but the worst part.... it fried my xbox too. It works great, just won't connect to the net. So, if it isn't covered under warranty, I don't think you'll be seeing me on xbox live for awhile. I don't have the money to fix it or get a new one. :(

I have it under warranty, but I'm not sure if lightening strike is covered. I'll call support today sometime and find out.

I wouldn't mention that it was a lightening strike, just that it doesn't work... don't give them a reason to not honor the warranty if you don't have to. But good luck on it man!

Well i hope u get it fixed bro..but i do no..they fix it no matter what if it is under warrant..if it isn't it will cost 99..man bro..i hope everything turns out good for u!..just put it in Gods hands!
